Discoloration marks are pigmentation disorders caused by excessive melanin production and its uneven distribution in the skin. They have the form of small or larger brown spots on the face, neck, cleavage and back. Since they most often appear on exposed parts of the body, they pose a big cosmetic and psychological problem. These changes intensify after exposures to the sun (UVA and UVB rays).
In histological terms, instances of skin discoloration can be classified into three groups: epidermis, dermis and mixed discoloration. The matter is simple for the first group and usually a deeper peelling and illuminating creams give good results. As regards the second and third groups of discoloration, the best results are obtained through associative therapy based on combining various methods: pigmentation reducing creams, microdermabrasion and laser treatments. The laser treatment is applied especially to pigmentation changes located in the dermis because this type of changes cannot be eliminated by any externally applied methods. This method is used for removing the most resistant cases of pigmentation.

Treatment
We perform the discoloration removal treatment using the latest generation device called IPL- Quantum SR – the world’s leader in manufacturing laser devices applied in medicine and cosmetology. This company was the first to introduce to the market the IPL intense source of light in the middle of the 90s. Since that time, it has been constantly mastering this technology. During the treatment, light is selectively absorbed by melanin, it heats up the cells containing pigments and causes their distruction. Changes in pigmentation get darker after the treatment, then gradually exfoliate and disappear. The best results are obtained after a series of 2 to 5 treatments spaced every 3rd-6th week. Your skin has a beautiful colour, it is refreshed and uniformy tinted approximately 2 weeks after the therapy.
